This enables both the inspection process and the operating process to be carried out in relation to the reference basis of the tooth flanks. Profiled tensioning mandrels are used for internal gearing; profiled clamping chucks for external gearing. The design of these clamping devices can be achieved in various ways. Depending on the problem, certain clamping methods are preferred.
